Established in 2021, Metamorph Tattoo is grown from the concept of intentional change. Metamorphosis is something most people can relate to one way or another. Our lives and bodies go through many phases. Tattoos celebrate that and can make our bodies feel more like home for the journey.

Metamorph Tattoo is a private studio on Missoula’s hipstrip, located within Compass Barbershop. We believe that tattoos are for everybody and prioritize providing a calm, inviting atmosphere where you can come as you are.

Founder and tattoo artist, Arlo Oleander, specializes in black and gray realism. Coming from a background in biology, they have special interests in all things nature – think bugs, birds, and botanicals. They also enjoy still life studies of anything from swords to heirloom jewelry.
